We are pleased to announce the winner of ICONs Dr Arun Kurkure Memorial Research Award for Best Paper in IJC on Women's Cancer in India by Indian for the year 2013.

We congratulate the winner, Dr Goel from Department of Pathology, King George’s Medical University UP, Lucknow. The winning publication is Rathore AS, Kumar S, Knowar R, Srivastava AN, Makker A, Goel MM: Presence of CD3+ tumor infiltrating lymphocytes is significantly associated with good prognosis in infiltration ductal carcinoma of breast. (Indian Journal of Cancer, July-September 2013, Volume 50, Issue 3, 239-244)

Dr Goel is invited to receive the award at the 31st ICON Meeting in Bhopal from 12th to 14th Sep 2014. In the ceremony, this Research Award certificate and the educational grant of Rs 50,000/- will be handed over.

Each year, the winner is selected by committee from all the papers published on women's cancer (by Indian on work in India) in the Indian Journal of Cancer in previous calendar year. Those working in the field of Women’s Cancer are invited to submit their best work to Indian Journal of Cancer.
